Japanese love Onigiri.
Ichiro Suzuki, Japanese Major Leaguers eats it also, before the baseball game starts.
It is Japanese traditional food.
There are so many kinds of Onigiri.
It is also known as o-musubi, nigirimeshi or rice ball, is a Japanese food made from white rice formed into triangular or cylindrical shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed).
Traditionally, an onigiri is filled with pickled ume (umeboshi), salted salmon, katsuobushi, kombu, tarako, or any other salty or sour ingredient as a natural preservative.
If you have a chance to visit Tsukiji, I recommend this shop.
This is the shop’s map.
